The tourism hub of the Kaçkars, this formerly bucolic yayla(mountain pasture) village has become a highly popular tour stop, welcoming coach-loads of tourists as well as Turks; from spring to autumn it's not a place to escape from other travellers. That said, Ayder has a gorgeous setting at around 1300m altitude in a verdant, waterfall-ribboned valley, and the broadest range of accommodation in the Kaçkars. The village straggles more than 2km from west to east up the valley, and the Kaçkar Dağları Milli Parkı (Kaçkar Mountains National Park) is nearby.Inthis trip we will visit Eskitıglu Waterfall, Rize Castle, Rize Cloth Factory and Zil Castle. If you need some adrenaline you can go for the most famous rafting parkour in Turkey.
